I've recently completed my studies at Animation Mentor. Animation Mentor is an intensive 18-month animation course run by professional animators entirely over the internet. Every three months students are assigned a new mentor (who'll typically be a professional working animator at a big studio like Blue Sky, Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, etc). You then receive weekly lectures and assignments, and take part in a regular live Q&A session with your mentor through video chat. At the end of the week, your mentor looks at your work and records a 10-15 minute video critique talking about what you did right, and what you did wrong.

If it sounds intensive, that's because it is. However, despite losing all evenings and weekends for 18 months, I can't recommend the course highly enough. It has a very well-deserved reputation.
